Role Description:

Cogito is seeking a talented and experienced executive leader for its Product team. The role is to lead and grow the functions of Product Management and Product Design for our flagship product in the enterprise voice software market, our underlying behavioral analytics platform, and other products under development.

 

The role is the central product leadership position in the company with the responsibility of developing and maintaining the product vision and timeline and coordinating all functions of the company around these goals. The role is also responsible for managing the product design team to meet the challenging UX/UI objectives of our products.

 

The role requires growing a product management team, including recruiting, training, and mentoring product managers. The role also requires experience with and understanding of Fortune 100 enterprise customers and delivering SaaS/PaaS products for these customers. More specifically, it requires understanding of end-users, customers, and partners in the customer service, CRM, and voice analytics spaces. Because our products are technically highly innovative, a technical background and/or substantial experience with technically challenging products would be beneficial. Because our company is rapidly growing, experience and comfort with the growth stage of a company is also important for success.

 

Role:

  • Reports to the CTO/Co-founder
  • Develop product vision and timeline and maintain roadmaps communicated internally and externally
  • Build and manage team of product management and UX/UI design.
  • Coordinate across design, engineering, research, data science, customer success, marketing, and executive teams to align them on product features, user experience, visual design, and roadmap
  • Visit customers, understand needs of customers and end-users, present product and features to executives, stakeholders, and end-users

  • Accurate roadmaps for all company products with alignment of all company functions on product features and delivery timelines
  • An effective and transparent product design and usability process
  • Company product management practice, including processes, tools, practices, and training

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field. Technical and/or design backgrounds beneficial.
  • Senior level experience, including a proven track record of multiple cycles of successful product design and delivery, preferably to enterprise customers.
  • Experience managing teams, including product managers and design and usability teams.
  • Experience in growth phase companies.
  • Experience with SaaS delivery and B2B enterprise software highly beneficial.
  • Experience in CRM and/or call center markets beneficial.
